Please ensure that you give the make, model and serial number of the product when placing the warranty call.

New Equipment Warranty Policy
  1. Unless otherwise stated, all new equipment will include a 12 months parts and labour warranty provided by the manufacturer or their agent, and subject to the terms and conditions applied by the manufacturer or agent.
  2. Engineer response time is normally within 48 hours, subject to availability, during normal office hours as above. Please ensure that incoming services (gas, water, electric) are working correctly before placing the warranty call. If the equipment is not faulty, a call out charge will be made.
  3. Failure to clean and maintain the equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements may void the warranty, and as such any repairs would be chargeable.
  4. The engineer may need to isolate services (gas, water, electricity) to carry out repairs, so please ensure that the appropriate isolators are accessible and functioning correctly. Other equipment may need to be temporarily relocated to allow the engineer to repair the faulty item.
  5. Please ensure that adequate measures are taken to descale any equipment which relies on a water supply. Most chargeable warranty repairs to such appliances are due to scaling or blocked filters. Please read the manufacturers requirements carefully and maintain the water filters and softeners.
  6. Neither busyCHEF or YCE Catering Equipment Ltd can be held responsible for any loss due to equipment failure. Any repairs or replacement of equipment is entirely at the discretion of the manufacturer or their agent.
  7. We do not recommend that either you or any third party attempt any repairs to the equipment during the warranty period as such work will inevitably void the warranty. Neither busyCHEF or YCE Catering Equipment Ltd will entertain any charges from a third party for warranty repairs.
  8. Copies of manufacturers warranty documents, installation, cleaning and maintenance manuals can be obtained by contacting our parent company YCE Catering Equipment Ltd as above.
